if it was the pre martinez version of williams kicking around now, then he would be #1. but it's not, it's a damaged goods version. even in between the martinez fights, he was lucky to beat cintron- weird ending but he was losing up to then. so i'm personally confident that he's shot, he's never corrected his faults and as he ages it's another brutal ko waiting to happen. so that's why i don't rank him above molina.

Assuming your "conspiracy" had any validity then how would you explain the referee allowing Molina to excessively hold, hit on the break, lead with his head, and rabbit punch without being penalized or even warned really? This goes against everything you're saying.

So you think Molina would beat Williams?

I have no desire in seeing an old man get beat up. He's an inspiration, and I it's hard for me to root against him.

Kirkland was not there that night. He left himself at the weigh in when they caught him with the unexpected.

Kirkland didn't complain once about Molina's holding which in my mind, suggests that maybe he felt he didn't deserve to complain.

We can only speculate why, and it is not our place to judge, but my point is, he was not at 100%.

His punches were hard, but he was pushing too much. That is something I was in agree with amongst the HBO cast.

However, I thought Molina was fighting a dirty fight throughout and should have been warned, deducted, and disqualifed for his dirty tactics.

Kirkland didn't complain and did what he had to do.

I don't know how they are trying to steer the game in boxing, and maybe, they are allowing grappling to enter the game, but I think that takes away from the art.

But at the same time, a crisp counterpuncher with solid footwork should be able to pick Molina apart.

Martinez, Pacquaio, Floyd, Cotto are strong canidates to do the job.

Ya'll tryin to watch Molina vs one of them?

Molina loses vs. Williams, Lara, Canelo, Cotto; he isn't nowhere near top 5.

Hed have a win against Kirkland?

Molina was out on his damn feet with two more round to go, its just as likely that Kirkland would have stopped him fairly as it would be Molina surviving. Nice try though.

Not only that, but Kirkland did that with a ref that was allowing Molina to completely hug and push kirkland every single time he wanted and needed to, not to mention hitting after breaks.

Put another ref in that forces Molina to actually work instead of smother and Kirkland would have done Molina in earlier.

If you say so what, Kirkland should have delt with it cuz thats the ref that was in there, then good... he did, ****ed Molina up down the stretch and was taking complete control of the fight.

Kirkland won. If anything, that dumbass ref robbed Kirkland of a legit TKO win.

The Martinez win was at 160. His resume at 154 is no great shakes.

Molina really impressed me until all the dan holding. He was going to get KO'd, it was just a matter of when. If Kirkland would have brawled earlier, he would have hurt him earlier, and KO'd him earlier.

Williams would box the **** out of Molina. I think he might have his best chance agaist Lara and actually Canelo to be honest.

He should have lost to 1 of those, and should of been a NC against the other, and was losing that fight as well.

Kirkland got schooled. Plain and Simple.

Of course the ESB Black Supremacists are all butthurt and looking for ways to discredit Molina calling him a holder ect..Yet at the same time want praise Alexander and B-Hop when thet put on their little hugfests.

Dude, Cintron jumped out of the ****ing ring and faked an injury. Cintron should have got the loss and his purse withheld.
