The huge difference between Molina and Hopkins is that Hopkins will punch you then immediately grab. It's a defensive tactic. Still wrong and illegal. Molina grabs you then punches. Almost all of his clean work was initiated out of the clinch. He should have been at least deducted twice if not DQ'd...Karmic justice.

If the ref was in on it why was he continually allowing Molina to trap Kirkland's arm and then wing punches at him? Thinking the DQ was BS is one thing, but thinking a ref that was letting Molina get away with murder in there was in on it is another.

No way in hell was the ref TRYING to give Kirkland the fight or he would have been docking Molina points throughout the fight.

Molina did what he had to do. why trade with kirkland? why stand in front of him? i thought he was very effective landing 1 or 2 punches and holding a lot but only for two seconds just to neutralize kirklands offense and over again. honestly i thought it was a good fight.

Hopkins and Molina are like brothers separated at birth. THey hold more than they fight. I'm not looking forward to the Dawson fight, hope he retires Hopkins. Terrible, terrible style. At least Molina has only fought on HBO once, Hopkins holds, hits, wrestles his ENTIRE career.

Molina isn't pleasing to watch but he was wining the fight and the ref was a disgrace.

He lost fair and square but that last round was just ridiculous he should've lost a point for holding.

The ref was right to dq him BUT he should've done it as soon as Molina's cornerman entered the ring, which would've eliminated most of the drama. As for Molina those last 2 rounds were ridiculous and the ref should've penalized him for holding. Everyone holds BUT you can't just let a guy hold and wrestle like that.

I've seen worse, Kirkland is awful as well so he didn't help matters. Molina wasn't dropping Kirkland either, so going for the kill wasn't an option for him.
