What is wrong with stating that Sky are ripping off their Sky Sports Subscribers time and again with PPV shyte and hoping these flop? The sad fact is that a very small percentage of the UK population will be watching this fight. What do we talk about today - the great Dirrell borefest last night. We are being fed dog shyte on Sky Sports these days.
i agree with you that there has been too much PPV for weak cards of late but at end of day you or anyone else do not have to buy it , its all up to the individual , im happy to pay £20 for a fight of this magnitude even if it is 5 years too late for some people (not me) , they are both the clear best in the division so its hardly as if they are walking around on zimmer frames , at least sky are giving people the option of having it , you are never going to even be given a sniff of an option from the likes of ITV , BBC etc .
you really are an idiot..... the biggest fight in the world ever is not going to be free to air at 10 pm in the UK to please absolute whoppers like you.... if you dont like it ,log out and go to the casino ...easy
The few casuals I've spoken to are boycotting the fight due to price. Why Sky have been greedy and made it £19.95 is beyond me. PPV should be £14.95 and that's it.
in my opinion anyone not staying up (or getting up) to watch maypac is not a boxing fan or a proper sports fan either , the magnitude of this event is huge , i understand £20 can be a lot of money to some people but with a few people chipping in its only the price of a pint and a packet of crisps , its not that bad really .
Think the rise in the price and the fact it's a 5am start will put a lot of people off. I get what you are saying about the event as a whole, but it's been a greedy money grab from all involved so it's understandable if people have their reasons.
