    Yes he was a top- puncher,though Mendoza disagrees.

    Yes he did, as well as being the only man to stop Briscoe!No I'm not joking Mendoza doesn't think Monzon faced a big puncher ,and that he always had significant size advantages over his challengers ,even though I 've corrected him on it several times.

    I'm sure I've read of him being listed somewhere in the Top-50 Punchers of All Time - more than a couple of times.
