if you would of read it it was a upset pick! like when douglas upset tyson, steve cruz upset barry m, you do know what one is dont you? you should spend less time on these fourums and more time on your own boxing career whats your record again?:yep
atsch I'm doing fine, my whole life is boxing its basically train and then relax either on here or watching a fight, i know im a sad *******. my record is 2-7. What bearing has that on anything? Maybe im on steroids? are you saying im on steriods? or can i beat Carlos Ortiz?
Well if you spent less time on here makeing boxing tournaments you might not be a amature jouneyman, whats courntey fry got to do with anythink? but you just said on another thread i said he was on steriods
you really are sad. atsch I know im a good boxer, i have film of me boxing most people on here have seen it and i'm sure they will tell you i aint crap. Not that i need to prove anything to you who obviously has no respect for boxers.
I know the alphabets are much maligned at times but stuff like this is great, what a fantastic incentive for both men.
You're entitled to an informed opinion, but when you state 40% of boxers use steroids, it's clearly fantasy. Where would you get those figures? You just made them up. Moore "may" have used steroids to help muscle regrowth post-op, a fairly common practice, but he would have stopped when he started training to fight again. Any conditioner worth their salt, and certainly one like Kayes with such a knowledge that he has his own range of supplements, could help a fighter make weight with maximum muscle mass and rehydrate safely after the weigh in. All the guys Kayes works with look fantastic at their weight - steroids would make it harder to do that, in fact.
This is Kerry Kayes, I am back at CNP's offices having just trained Jamie at Betta Bodies gymnasium. For anyone interested we did chest and shoulders, I like to split his body up so as to keep his energy levels up for boxing. He told me about this thread and as you all know, I normally do not go on boxing forums (although this is the second time recently, the other was "Losing Kerry Kayes seriously effect Ricky's fights?" on Live fight - http://www.**************/boxingforum/index.php/topic,2033.0.html - Ricky Hatton's forum). I went on that site to answer New Blood's post which was like Cotto20's post, grossly inaccurate. Firstly, I wrote a diet for Jamie Moore's seventh fight, I've still got a fax from Steve Woods telling me that Jamie made the weight easily; I have known Jamie for years although never directly worked with him. You all know I was in the opposite corner to Jamie's fight with Matthew Macklin (Macklin had trained at our gym for some years) for that tremendous British Title fight which Jamie won. I spoke to Jamie some 8 weeks before the fight and told him I was in an impossible position, in typical Jamie Moore (nice man) attitude, he said "Don't worry Kerry, its just business". Sometime after that Jamie asked me would I work with him and I said yes, Jamie trains with Oliver but comes to Betta Bodies 3 or 4 times a week just to do strength work with me. He is one of the most satisfying boxers I have ever worked with and Jan (my wife) and I have had a couple of memorable Sunday lunches with Jamie and Colleen. This is directed at Cotto20. I'm going to look at your post in a positive and negative way. The positive "Since Jamie went to kerry kays (should be Kayes) his body has changed has went twice as strong" - THANK YOU for patting me on the back for doing my job. The negative, "I wouldn't put it past him to be on some steroid....rumors that hatton was on steroids!......40% of boxers use them now!" is just so outrageous. Jamie and Ricky have never taken any performance enhancing drug, remember he has passed all the drug tests, as did Hatton. Have you ever thought Cotto20 that maybe I am very good at my job? Or I have just got the best bio available proteins that do not need drugs for your body to assimilate them. I will not list the premiership football clubs, triathletes, UFC fighters, sprinters, cyclists and powerlifters/bodybuilders etc. I work with and they all are drug tested, in fact believe this or not, I sponsor the drug testing protocol for the BNBF (British Natural Bodybuilding Federation) who also, in addition to drug testing, have to undergo a polygraph test! To say that anybody who has serious shoulder operations has only got to take steroids would kind of be like saying, letÂ’s make all physiotherapists redundant. Maybe, he had a great surgeon, Lennard Funk, a great physio, Stuart Cosgrove and a reasonable strength coach in me. I could write in my opinion as Cotto20 has made such a bold post, he must be 8 foot tall and 35 stone, but this wouldn't be true, and neither is it that Ricky or Jamie take anabolic steroids. I could go on and on and pat myself on the back about my knowledge of training and nutrition but I'd rather let all the athletes I work with do that. You can read about the nutrition with Jamie after his injuries here http://www.cnpprofessional.co.uk/blog.php/boxer-jamie-moore-uses-cnp-professional-protein- supplements-to-overcome-injuries-blog-496.html? I had similar negatives when I did a 12 week challenge to get ex soap star Scott Wright from fat to guest pose at a bodybuilding show, you can see the photographs here http://www.cnpprofessional.co.uk/blog.php/scott-wright-shows-off-what-12-weeks-hard- training-and-correct-nutrition-can-achieve-blog-455.html? Finally, thank you Beeston Brawler for saying all fighters who work with me are big at the weight and very strong.
