Morales asked the Pacquiao team to make the fights at 132 because of weight problems but they refused. There were even cash punishments for Morales if he didn't weight less than 130 lbs for the 3rd fight. :-(

every pound counts in boxing especially with the lower weights as they have small weight gaps division to division..

I wouldn't want either of them to make a comeback unless they both fight for a 4rth time:deal

MAB would fare better simply because he knows how to "prevent" himself from getting hit too much, unlike Morales who just cant resist going into wars.

I think it was a million for every pound over, and if Morales went in above 132 Pacquiao had the option of walking away with the money.:-(

Its not bad because EM made the weight, but it really felt like a shitty deal when Pacquiao walked into the fight at 144 and EM at 139.

thats why i want fighters to come in with the same weight on fight night. A lot of fighters do this to their advantage.

Come to think of it, Pac is the naturally bigger man, but he was able to drain himself that much. If anyone was at a disadvantage in that clause, it was PAC.

Marquez would break him down and win by KO at this point. Morales has nothing left. His stamina is gone, he has become too slow to compete at the elite level, his reflexes are not there to save him, legs are done, and his loss of balance will not let him fire effective shots anymore. Any other fights at the elite level are just murder to his body, I am very glad he retired.

Barrera can still fight because he would rather just box but he is still past it. He should just call it quits

Neither, both had their retirement fights and have already accomplished a lot, their legacies are sealed.
