in terms of greatness it's a toss up
in terms of awesomeness the equation is correct

People forget how great the babyface assasin really was. Just becasue pac was his kryptonite does not man marquez who is pacs kryptonite or morales whos style of fight back then was perfect to beat pacquiao are a better then Barrera or should be rated ahead of him

Mckinney took alot out of him and so did jones, nonetheless he did what a true champ did and came back after some time off and had a legendary carreer.

    Barrera
    Marquez
    Morales

By the way when i lived in tijuana rumors of Morales PED use against Barrera!!!!

Had Marquez not been given a gift against a faded Barrera would Marquez even be in this conversation ?

im curious TT are you a barrera hater lol

    anyways

I have it Marquez, Morales, Barrera but its really close

You can look at it at an isolated resume perspective but like all other credits and discredits to each win I'll add mine

Morales has the only "official" win on Pacquiao, but only after Marquez had done the REAL dirty work, analysis mid-fight, and having to recoup 3 knockdowns in the process. I had that as a Pac win but imo Marquez deserves the most props in that fight out of any fights between the 4. He also has the "people's" win over pac in their 3rd bout

Morales beat Pac and Jones who beat Barrera, but Barrera beat Morales twice. I had the decisions between the first 2 fights switched, and the 3rd to Barrera as well. Barrera beat Hamed handily who's a colossal win on anyone's resume. If we're also bringing up their relation to Pac, Barrera fought Marquez in a close bout when he was way past prime (i dont care about those scorecards, that was a close fight especially considering the KD controversy), and many forget Barrera soundly beat Sanchez who drew with Pac in the dirty bout.

We can also consider the results and controversies of JMM/John/Juarez/Barrera
and also who fought who's "leftovers" (hate that argument) and many fought the same guys

Their resumes are littered with several other handy wins but those are some of the big points I outlined.

    1 .Jmm
    2. Morales
    3. Barrera

they're all so damn close it's practically interchangeable though and arguments can be made for any order. Marquez still has the possibility to notch another 2-3 good wins whcih should establish him as the clear #1 out of the 3 if he does.
