Go Erik. Don't listen to these idiots on the board who are stuck with the jobs that they hate doing everyday. These guys try to live vicariously through you and that is rather sad.

Do whatever you want. You call the shots. Take a year or 2 off. Get fat and then come back at 135 or 140, whichever your body is used to and go kick some ass.

Hell, I'd like to see you avenge your fight against Pac at a higher weight. It will make money and so will you.

I don't know and I don't care about you guys, but I want to see Erik go out on top on his terms...win or lose.

Some fighters do know when is the right time to quit. It's just that they are last ones who accepts that fact.

please....i hope this is not true...if he does come back i would prefer its sooner than that...at least he just fought in Aug and wouldnt have that long of a layoff...

but hes already on the downslide of his carrer and waiting til 09 t0 fihgt will only hurt him IMO.

fight once more this year and thats it erik...no more...you dont even have to fight...youre a legend. a warrior.

but damn....this can only be bad for his health.

He should stay retired. The way he fights it would take such a toll on him it would probably make him worn out faster than his last several fights did.
