What it boils down too for me is the Kessler fights , Kessler beat Froch , Ward beat up Kessler

That at the moment seperates them , if Froch gets past Johnson ive still got Ward beating him handily in the final !!!

Ward would also decision Froch if they fought, IMO.

Ward is the better fighter. All else is irrelevant.

P4P doesn't in any ****ing way mean 'who would win if they were the same size' :rofl

Wallet, dunno what happened there, my point was although the consensous would probably be Ward winning comfortably, I think Froch is determined enough to make it a closer fight than anyone else, including Kessler, has managed as of late. Frochy is big, awkward and will be pushing Ward for 12 rounds. Gonna' be a great fight IMO, providing Froch gets past Johnson (I think he will, in a competitive battle)

i scored last night 116-112. Thought AA won the first 3 and last round.

I would say Ward should be higher though based on the kessler win.

and Ciani is a **** poor writer.

Yes the last time i checked he was a BW though !!!

Flea , show me the rules based on the P4P theory , there are interpretations of this theory and mine is based on the level and skill of a fighter pitted against another fighters level and skill regardless of weight , i.e. you compare the fighters skill set and style not the resume or acheivements , providing obviously one doesnt massively outweight the other !!! .................

For me it's 'regardless of the fact Wlad would knock Donaire out with the first punch he lands, who has done the best work in their respective weight class/es'. So basically the same, 'if they were the same weight who would win' doesn't come into it, that's what I thought you were saying :good

Of course you take into account who the skill set has been deployed against, that o's the proof of a top-notch fighter, hence resume has to rank high in criteria when evaluating a fighters ability.

What's your point anyway? Froch would kill him obviously :huh Unless the fight had to happen at bantamweight of course though :deal

What is clear is that Donaire and Ward are two of the best p4p talents in the sport today and have pretty decent records to back it up. They'd be in my top 5.

Yeah, I'd be surprised if he survived. Might get away with it though because the Yanks are probably still in their pit.

    I agree.

Really the lower half of the current top 10 could be any of 15 fighters.

    1. Pacquiao
    2. Marquez
    3. Martinez
    4. Klitschko
    5. Donaire

    ----------------------------

    Froch
    Ward
    Pascal
    Hopkins
    Gamboa
    Segura
    Pongsaklek
    Vitali
    Adamek
    Bradley
    Williams
    Cotto
    Nishioka

Some of the names toward the bottom are probably a bit far fetched but an argument can be made I'm sure.

I'd like to see a few British P4P lists, see where everyone is after Froch at the top.
