Kessler was the lifeline of Calzaghes career . Ward easily outclassed Kessler without breaking a sweat . In a way he exposed Calzaghe as well , They just cant get over that .

knockout artist, Mikkel Kessler was not saying anything about retirement after the Froch fight. So i wonder where you have heard that..The case was that Kessler had that eyeinjury, and the doctors told him,too NOT spar,or anything in 6-9 month...And if his eyes wouldn´t heal up,then he should consider retirement...But even in the long lay off,he said : im sure it will get better so i can keep on fighting...And it GOT BETTER,so Kessler could start to come back..And so far,it seems that he has been more accurate,And the two fights he have fought recently, showed that Kessler still has some fights in him.2 knock out victories, was a great start.Because they have kept him busy, and he has been injury free for some time now.

First i wouldn´t reply to your nonsense... I thought you knew if he won any rounds, because you must have seen the fight several times, with all your knowledge about that fight.
Your quote shows in every way, that you are a kessler hater...Thats okay,we all have some we like, and some we dislike. But if you want to be taking serius, write something that is TRUE atleast...
Right now you just making a fool of yourself..

I remember hearing it on one of the fight camp 360 episodes, I think it you're right it was to do with his injury - he said if his eye did not recover properly, then he would retire

An old link from the scene

calzaghe-kessler was competitive and joe c did his thing in that fight but ward-kessler was more impressive simply because i expected ward to win by outstinking him in close decision not slaughter kessler in a very one sided manner (headbutts aside)

Your credibilitie is wrecked when you say Calzaghe never beat anyone good when the fact is he beat Kessler who most people recognize as a very good Super Middleweight who is just below Elite level and Hopkins who was considered the best Light Heavyweight in the world at the time and years after his loss to Calzaghe, and is now consider one of the greatest Light Heavyweights of all time.

Insult all you want , you just dont like the fact im critisizing one of your favs , i call it like i see it , and i understand that will turn some people off , But oh well im always going to be truthful about any fighter whether their fans like it or not . The truth is Kessler was nothing but hype created by fans of calzaghe and Ward exposed him for the D list fighter he is .

Better performance? Ward because he completely schooled Kessler.

    Better win? Obviously Calzaghe's.
