Pacquiao over Margarito was more impressive.
Sergio almost blew it at the end.

Martinez was obviously the more impressive victory. He got knocked down and managed to get up and didn't clinch or run but went out swinging. Pacquiao didn't do anything remotely close to what Martinez did

Nothing Margarito did in his career counts as far as I'm concerned. Cheating ****.

That makes the decision here easy, Martinez/Chavez jr.

Not that Jr. Is some clean athlete but at least he hasn't loaded his gloves yet.

Pacquiao pretty much ruined what's left of Margo's career by breaking his orbital bone

And what was Margarito supposed to do to Pac, or vice versa

Martinez fought a guy on a roll that people gave a legitimate shot at stopping Martinez and was ranked top 3/4 at MW.

Margarito was coming off a brutal drubbing, was brickless, and coming off of a year ban for disgraceful cheating, at a catchweight for a paper title. Where was he ranked? Yeah

Martinez UD Chavez, and it's not close.

both good wins. The fact that this is considered a Cherry pick for Manny says the differance in Class and expectations between Manny and other fighters.

Cotto even get credit for beating Margo after Manny and its considered one of his greatest victories despite.

Yet manny get a cuused of cherry picking him.

And FYI, you'll find as many experts that picked Margo over Manny, than Chavez over Martinez

The catch Light middle belt is bull****, and used to promote the fight and because of the money.

But the actual fight itself, Manny vs Margo was thought of as a competetive fight. You could bump 50 threads full of people expecting Margo to KO Pac.
You'll find more thinking than, than people expecting chavez to KO Martinez.

The belt was a paper belt, and neither deserved to win a light middle title.

But the win itself was a very impressive win.

    martinez chavez without question . . .

martinez fought an UNDEFEATED chavez and one would have to be naive to think chavez was 100% clean going into the fight (he's skipped post-fight drug tests, failed drug tests for diuretics in the RECENT past, and then tested positive for marijuana - not that marijuana is a PED, but i'm not an expert on the subject matter and don't pretend to know whether or not it can be used as a masking device)

margarito is an absolutely awful fighter. the only thing he did well was absorb punishment. after getting caught with loaded gloves, every single win becomes speculation.

essentially pac fought a drained punching bag with a granite chin (another one if you include clottey). pac performed about as well as he could, but im not going to pour on compliments; he did everything a puncher could aside from stopping him.

as for margs, **** margs. that ****er got what was coming to him
