Man, I wanted to see his one-man show, never got the chance. Didn't know he had more than one encounter with Blood:lol:!

Foreman was the biggest and baddest fighter ever! None of the other bullies won a heavyweight title at 45, was able to adapt their style, or lift fighters like Joe Frazier off the ground with an uppercut. Just unreal that Foreman was.

Tyson, at 5'10", 220 pounds was not even close to being small. He was short-ish for a heavyweight fighter, but he wasn't small. He was thicker and more dense than either George Foreman or Sonny Liston. And to me, Tyson's explosiveness made him plenty scary.

Sonny Liston had a few scuffles in prison. I don`t think he was worried about too many people.

You know who was afraid of Tyson? 3rd tier fighters and ghetto black dudes who think beating on girls makes you a tough guy.

You know who feared Liston? 170 pound fighters like Floyd Patterson and the white media.

You know who feared Foreman? Virtually ever fighter he got in to ring with in his prime. Hell even guys like Shannon Briggs who went toe to toe with Lewis and took everything Vitali had ran from a old Foreman like a *****.

Ron Lyle definitely was not scared of Foreman.Look at the pre-fight stare down.

True, but he wasn't the toughest guy on the block like many make him to be.

I admit I'd be scared to death to fight George Foreman but truthfully he wasn't as intimidating as Liston or Tyson. In fact, when he wasn't giving a man stern stare down, he actually had a fairly peaceful look on his face. Years later he admitted that his tough guy persona was only an act.. George is as bad of a man as any of them, but below the surface he was actually a nice guy.

Totally lost to history of course, but Barbados Joe Walcott seems to have terrified his opponents.

Not being afraid of an opponent does not mean you will beat that opponent. And to me, I was more impressed with Ron Lyle in that fight than I was with George Foreman. Lyle looked the stronger of the two, and had the bell not rung a minute early in that round where Foreman was hurt, Lyle could have easily won!
    Lyle was a tough dude!
