Mosley puts more into his shots, he commits to them more. Hard to tell. I think Mosley will have a better shot at hurting Margo if thats what your asking, he is faster and throws the right hand from angles, so he may hit Margo with something he never sees coming.

Yea, that's what I was wondering, if SSM can hit AM hard enough to make him respect his power. It seemed as if he knew Cotto couldn't hurt him.

Its pretty tough Cottos a decent banger he stopped Quintana,Judah and Gomez who had never been stopped I believe since hes been at 147. Theres Shane though whos brutally KOed a pair of big 154 pounders in Mayorga and Vargas he also knocked out a pretty good fighter in Antonio Diaz and of course the Adrian Stone KO was violent. But as far as comparison for the Margarito fights id say Mosley cause he will sit on his shots more the Cotto.

Cotto, clear edge. It was evident in their fight in my view

Well from what I saw when they hit eachother, Cotto's punches seemed to do more damage. Not that Mosley was ever hurt, but to me, he's more explosive than Cotto, faster but doesn'thave the same brute force.

Then again I haven't been hit by either of them

Fair enough. From what I recall Mosley landed some big right hands that ended up being the seemingly hardest blows landed overall - and of course Cotto conceeded all exchanges at the 3/4 mark, and started moving along the ropes. He seemed to raise the white flag, but some will say it was stamina or other things. I'm going to watch it again at some point this week, I'll keep an eye out.

Mosley has the greater power. He hurt Cotto on the ropes and made him backtrack in the late rounds. It's his speed that gives him those hard shots.

    Got it in one :good

I think Margarito will stop Mosley - but where Mosley could pull off an upset is because he throws hard shots in bunches, whereas Cotto tends to fight at a lower pace.

IMO Cotto could fight Margo ten times and lose by stoppage probably eight times, losing the other two on points.

A peak Mosley would fight Margo ten times and probably win on points seven/eight times, perhaps be outworked the other occasions.

Cotto has more power, Mosley has a better chin.

It's close. Shane has more snap, Cotto's punches have more of a bludgeoning effect.

I think Mosley has a better chance of getting a reaction if he lands on Margo's chin, but still not likely.

Hope Sugar Shane wins though! Big Margo fan but still, if Shane could pull it off it'd be a fantastic victory for one of my favourite current fighters.

shane does. cotto imposed his will against opposition who weren't the biggest of guys. shane has hurt really big guys, even winky was a little starched by shane. shane is faster, a big part of devasting power.

I think Mosley has sharper punches with bigger one shot power when he puts it all into it

but i think punch for punch cotto has heavier hands
