    Nobody is ready and tons of excuses why it’s the only choice. We have seen same excuses before, when Klitchkos have signed fight with Chisora, Sosnowsibum, Johnsons ect....

    I get that Wlad wants easy opponent after unifying with dangerous Haye. What I don’t like is his fans trying to defend it, like its only possible choice and Wlad couldn’t have fight anyone else in the world.

    Emmanuel Steward was on ESB's boxing radio show (front page) and said that Helenius was also offered a contract and said NOOOOO.........

    He also mentioned Arreola saying no along with someone else but he mumbled and I was not sure who he said.

    Prepare to keep in perpetual ***** mode when Wlad fights his mandatory (Chambers/Thompson) next spring in Germany.

    The only people liking it should be those who just wanna see wlad fight.

    Jmm hasn't really won 3 at hw and anyone thinking otherwise needs to watch his fights.

    If I was compiling a top 40 i'm not sure jmm would be in it. I mean grant and holyfield are better fights!

    You said it, Wlad unifies so he deserves the voluntary defence.

    Wlad asked other fighters, like Povetkin, Arreola and Helnius. All said "no" so nothing wrong with fighting against Mormeck.

    The haters will always hate.

    I'm a fan of Wlad's but to be honest I am not very excited about this match-up. Yes, it's a stay busy fight and Wlad deserves an 'easy defense' after the unification fight.

    But at the end of the day what counts is that Mormeck is more outmatched than any other Wlad opponent I can remember. This will be a light sparring session as Mormeck quits on his stool by the mid rounds after his eyes are swollen shut.

    It is a stay busy fight, but it's a bad one.
    Of course it's better as not fighting at all, and sometimes it's fun to see a major beatdown in the HW division.

    Sadly this fight gives the haters some ammo, certainly if Wlad takes too much time (7 or more rounds) to dispose of him.

    The thing that gets me the most is if it was cunningham, lebedev or huck fighting jmm even they'd get stick considering how shot he is.

    Hell, I remember last year wlad's biggest fans where saying jmm was shot even when haye beat him!

    Wlad shouldn't just be criticized for picking a poor opponent. These fights hurts boxing, when they're put on as a main event without any sort of undercard. They're far worse than a simple bad fight.
