As Ajose Olusegun had to reluctantly give up the British title due to the significant matter of facing the unbeaten Ionut Dan Ion of Romania in the WBC final eliminator with the winner (that is Ajose) to face Devon Alexander I am backing Barry "Bazza" Morrisson all the way to win the Lonsdale belt again. I just hope that he has enough time to be at his best because his style can definitely affect Dawes the way it did the last time. When Ajose is WBC champion you never know Bazza may get a world title shot against Ajose. Imagine that in Scotland, a true native born Scot against an adopted Scot.

It is certainly not a pipe dream for Morrisson to beat Daws again or for Ajose to defeat Ionut Dan Ion and then Alexander for the WBC title. Also why can Morrisson not make a world title challenge if he gets into the ratings.

sorry olu, i only meant barry gettin a world title shot is only a dream at the moment, not any of the rest that you mentioned, barry will beat dawes, but he'll have work to do, to get up the world rankings.

I would love to see that Olu, we can but dream!

Im talking about Baz v Ajose though:D

That fight is the dream, but the reality is Ajose is edging ever closer to world title glory, & I will be cheering him all the way. Not least because your prophecy is getting closer to coming true, to coin Kevin Keegans phrase "I would just LOVE IT" if you and Ajose proved all the doubters wrong here & Ajose became world champion.

You have had to take a lot of flak here for bigging up Ajose like I used to big up Scotty Harrison back in the day(aah those were the days...) Good luck to Ajose Olusegun, & if he wins the world title? Just sit back & enjoy:smoke
Its what I used to do when scotty was king for a short while...

Thanks Dunky. As you know we have to do it the hard way by going to Romania to beat Dan Ion in his home town.

I am really glad to see Bazza back in the mix and will be cheering for him against Daws.

What is the latest with Scot Harrisson? I must say I miss him. Physically alongside Azumah Nelson he may be the strongest Featherweight I have seen. Really physically strong lad. Sometimes it was like watching a Welterweight against Featherweights.

Also really looking forward to PBF versus Marquez two of the best.

Olusegun will become a world champion... He has the ability to compete with any of the top 140's he just needs to be given the oppotunity!!! We haven't seen the best of Olusegun yet.. He will be world champion in 2010!!

    thanks mandanda,

it sure is a big fight for him, and barry, it's a shame i'll not be traveling for it this time round, just do'nt have the spondoolys.
fingers crossed the judges are leniant, it's always an issue when your not the home fighter in london, when dave parris is around that is.

i'm confident barry will win it much wider this time round and even have a late stoppage (8th) :bbb

Awright Maka, tell Baz the boys are right behind him:thumbsup I think Baz will do another number on that big streak oh pish. The wee man has been totally unlucky with injuries etc, so I'm hoping "The Biz" can uncork one of his left hooks and finish it:cool:
