You could stick him in with the likes of Dubois and Joshua already and I think he would knock them out.
Both AJ and Dubois knock him out. He's too green atm. Needs some learning fights, build experience and then should go for the British title.
Lets be honest about him, he wa sundefeated amateur but only had 22 fights from what i can see against no one who did a huge amount, no senior fights but on the other hand he is getting alot of praise from people with boxing knowledge. Just let him get on at his own pace and see if actually merits the hype. Also if your saying he kos Dubois, whyte, Joshua etc at this point then you are either biased or an idiot and it shows hard.
Frank needs to be VERY careful how he develops Itauma or he's going to end up Dubois 2.0. I'm having flashbacks to all of those painful Richie Woodhall BT Sport videos breaking down Dubois' Sonny Liston-level jab against Polish binmen, Japanese burger flippers and Ghanaian church groundskeepers, and how it might perplex Joyce who's quite literally an Olympian with a win over Bryant Jennings Just to put it into context, Joyce's first professional contest was against Lewison, who I somewhat rate as a journeyman, whereas Itauma's was against a bloke who quite honestly may have been paid to take a dive and got dropped in one punch. Just completely the wrong approach. Itauma needs regular fights and rounds, with logical stepping stones against the Brownes of this world. He could be sparring the ghosts of Jack Johnson and Joe Louis for all I care. Pointless waffle
The sad thing is his anti-matchroom bias (and anyone who knows me knows how much i criticise EH when he deserves and he does deserve it) is so strong he legit keeps making alts to come back and make stupid arguments. Truly saddest bloke on the internet
it’s just a correction to absurd overhype. proclaming that he will beat Mike Tyson’s record is an insult to our intelligence
