I keep hearing about Shanes' strength. When has Shane ever looked like a physically imposing welterweight?

Struggled with Oscar's strength at 147.
Was tossed around like a ragdoll by Forrest 2x.
Wasn't physically overwhelming against Cruz or Estrada.

Cotto did to Zab what Shane hasn't done to anyone since his days as a lightweight.

Shane is strong but he rather overwhelm his oppostion with great combonations rather than get into qaulity pocket warfare that consists of fewer punches but more accurate ones. Mosley falls into the flurries when in close qaurters.

Mosley 5 years would DESTROY Cotto in my opinion, just too fast and strong to handle with insane stamina. However, as the poster WhataRock said this isn't 5 years ago and now this fight is just too close to call in my opinion, Mosley does have a chance to land something huge and change everything but there is no way in hell one punch will knock Cotto out cold. Mosley's chin is solid but Cotto is a serious puncher, whatever he lands will really put a mark on you, really tough fight to predict, I'll go with Mosley by UD.

    Excellent post

I truely beleive this fight will be war, what will seperate the two is if Mosley starts to bleed he will react in some way or form but it will effect his fight game. If Cotto bleeds he will only become focused and determined to seek and destroy. Great fight for the ages.

BULL****!!!! The Shane Mosley of 5 years ago is the Shane Mosley that got whoopped by Forrest TWICE. The Shane Mosley of 7 years ago is the one that COULD have dominated Miguel Cotto of today.

I reckon the shane mosley of 8 years 8 months and 13 days ago was better than that.

The first fight with Forrest, serious beat down. Second fight not so much. But the first fight was something else, Shane can take it, and Forrest looked perfect in there. Forrest, what a waste. If Cotto had a long good Jab with a good right hand and uppercut, it would be easy for him.

Nope, that Mosley was fighting at lightweight so that fight could not happen.
