De La Hoya has vowed not to fight again until at least 2007, making Mosley the next logical opponent for Mayweather. But a Mosley-Mayweather match is not guaranteed, just because fans may want to see it.

Mosley wants to wait until next year; Mayweather wants to fight in November. Even if they agree on a date, a weight and a location, the financial terms could be even harder to resolve.

Mayweather saw no reason why a fight against Mosley should not materialize.

Mosley anit beating Maweather, hes too flat footed. even he knows this, thats why he didnt take the fight.

 

All this doesn't matter now, these guys will eventually fight each other and very soon. All this "ducking" nonsense started with Vivian Harris and the media picked it up from there to keep the drama/interest/talk.

Mosley is just another name on the long list of fighters who ducked Mayweather. just add Casamayor,Firetas, and Hamed on there. dont forget Cotto in 2005 and Hatton but at least Hatton had the nuts to take the fight 2 years later. 6 time champ in 5 weight classes?? should be 9 time champ in 5 weight classes, but its all good. Mosley will get it sonner or later. I just cant believe hes begging Mayweather for a fight now, when they could've fought in there primes and Mosley turned it down.

 

I'm no Mosley apologist and am certainly not a Floyd supporter. IMO both guys have somewhat ducked each other.

 

How can you possibly say Mayweather ducked Mosley?? on what grounds?? you sound like a hater when theres videos of Mayweather trying to get the fight and Mosley didnt want none. MOSLEY DUCKED MAYWEATHER!! we have evidence, unless you have otherwise. and the 1st video is in early 2005 so you cant say he was staying out of the way of his boss.

 

How bout now. When asked about fighting Mosley, Floyd was quick to point out that he has 5 losses. If that's his honest reason for not fighting Mosley then why is he facing JMM who last I check isn't an undefeated fighter himself?
