Paul Williams is one of the few fighters I'd favor over Mosley. Just a bad matchup for Shane here..

Why because he had tough time fighting slick defensive fighters like Forrest and Winky at 154? Anybody would have a tough time fighting those two. He beat Delahoya and Vargas at 154. He'll be at his best regardless of the weight.

I want to see the fight because both fighters love to throw punches. We haven't seen that in the mid weights aside from the Williams/Margarito fight.

I don't know about that. From Mosley's own mouth "I don't think our styles (williams') match very well." IE: I don't do well against taller rangy boxers like Winky Wright and Vernon Forrest.

I doubt seriously we will ever see Mosley take the Williams fight.

As a Mosley fan - I would love to see him fight Paul Williams to see if he can adjust to a taller fighter. We'll just have to wait and see what happens.

I love Mosley but Williams is pure kryptonite for him. At the end of his carreer he shouldnt fight him. Mosley vs Cotto. Thats the deal to be made. Williams will have problems getting good matches coz he is too dangerous.

Arum would never let that happen. Cotto is fighting Pacqiauo next after Clottey. Mosley is not a big money drawer. Arum only wants the big money fight. Why do you think the fight wasn't made quickly? After Mosley beat Margarito. Both fighters had clear schedules. I doubt the rematch will ever happen. The biggest name Mosley can fight is Williams. The rest of the Welterweights are unknowns.

tough to say. not that many people thought that shane would beat margo down THAT bad so i dont wanna say he can't beat williams...but it would be real tough. i agree w/ the posts that williams is not margo and is better than margo. whether he would or wouldnt, there are other fights shane can go after rather than tangle w/ this guy.

I doubt it ... Mosley and or Golden Boy want no parts of Williams at 147 or at 154.

Yeah that made me laugh too. Winky couldn't even land his jab tonight and his jab is a million times better than Mosley's
