Sounds about right. I don't know if it will be as early as 6 or 7, but unless Father Time suddenly shows up, I just can't see Cotto lasting the whole fight.
NAH, Not 6th or 7th, if Shane can not KO this guy in four, I'll give it to him in the 9th. :hat Shane TKO9. :rasta
Shane is a class fighter and I predicted the same 6-7th round stoppage but viewing his last fight he looked slow and now i am not so sure
Mosley didn't impress me as much in the Collazo fight as Cotto did in the Judah fight. Shane still looked like an elite welterweight, don't get me wrong, but it looked like there is a slight reduction in speed and explosiveness. He is way more consistent than Judah, but I actually think Judah, when he throws, has the snappier and harder punches. The problem is he doesn't always put his shots together. Mosley is much, much stronger. Still, I expect a Cotto victory and I will give a more detailed analysis closer to the fight - sometime next week.
It's the same thing from people before every Cotto fight: "Fighter X will beat him, KO him or is too fast for him..." Yet he wins every fight, and the same people who thought he would lose, comeback and say "oh, that guy was a bum, Cotto cheated..." If he wins this one, are you non-believers going to give him credit? Or will you make excuses again? Boxing fans are hard to understand.
What's up bro! Just a quick hit n run. I'll be back next week to really get things started before the throw down. arty Cotto---> :vonnecunt <----Sugar artya
I like both guys, but I am rooting for Cotto. I'm curious as to what Mosley fans think Sugar will do. Will he come out early and try and catch Cotto or try to be in semi-boxing mode for the majority of the fight using his speed?
Mosley has edge in speed/skill, but Cotto has the upper hand in youth, which shuold be a major factor...
People are so damn ignorant when it comes to calling fighters "chinny." Lennox Lewis was chinny. Chinny fighters get knocked out. This is boxing! Is a fighter never suppose to be hurt in his entire career? If that's what you think, you're stupid as hell. Do you forget that Floyd was out on his feer vs Corley also? He isn't chinny. I wouldnt even necessarily call Zab very chinny. He's been visibly hurt in maybe 3 or 4 fights. As for Cotto, he's been hurt/stunned in only 3 fights, but NEVER ko'd. So how the hell is he chinny.
That 3, 4 punch-sharp combination that had Adrian Stone falling down like a chopped tree would work but I give the benefit of the doubt that Shane cannot deliver as fast now. But if Shane goes back one year to July 2006 and lands a left hook like against Vargas, Cotto will get rocked the same way. Problem for Shane in these paralells with Vargas and Stone is that if Mosley misses, Cotto comes back with a big punch too and Shane may get rocked himself. However, I have no doubts who's gonna be first in the hitting department and that gat to count for something.
