Im just going to put this out there, probably going to get some hate but i think Shane could beat P. Williams, could be a great last big win

agreed, but I think on a few of those nights you have to consider the circumstances. mosley still can make money, do well and probably look good against certain guys. I don't think the fact that a fighter of his caliber is past his prime automatically merits retirement. if he can still do it at a relatively high level, then why not continue to fight? that's what he does.

Physique doesn't win fights but I agree with you. Mosley throughout the years has taken too many shots which doesn't help for longetivity in a career. People forget that he wasn't too easy to hit in his prime as he could get by on athleticism. Even now he'll block a few shots but overall he takes too much punches now and atheleticism can only take a fighter so far as speed & reflexes decline with aging.

Mosley still could beat the Berto-Hernandez or the Alexander-Bradley winner.

If you have ever boxed before, you would know that the Mora fight is absolutely no indication as to if Mosley is shot. Mora, the bigger, stronger, taller man, fought like a total ****, making it LITERALLY impossible for Shane to look good. It was an abortion of a fight.

    :good

I'd prefer it be the former than the latter, since I want Bradley and Alexander to stay at 140 awhile (and obviously Shane can't make that).

He'll still take Berto out behind the woodshed and make him want to quit boxing. :good

I said a while ago, that I think Mosley has been in a clear decline since the first Vargas fight. Even Vargas, a guy who was well past it, gave him problems for a couple of rounds. As impressive as the Margarito bout was, not only is Mosley a terrible opponent for him, but there are too many questions that have to be asked. It's almost a shame that such an impressive win can be questioned, but I really don't think Mosley deserves the praise he gets for that bout because Margarito just wasn't there.

Now, I'm truly saddened by the way his career is going. I made a post about him sounding slightly punchy before the Mayweather fight and he doesn't seem to be acting right mentally. Apparently he's now left GBP and his manager is Prince? A real shame. These guys will use the name he built up over a glorious career, let him be beaten by guys not fit to be in the same ring as him, and rip him off for the pleasure of it.

Shame. Many of boxings nice guys have ended up going the same way and I'm disappointed Mosley will probably be added onto that long list.

He should wait to see what happens with Pac and Marg. If Pac don't win and Mosley did, then we could be seeing a Molsey vs Marg two. Pac lost would also make since for a show down with Mosley, if Marg don't fight Mosley a second time.

Has he left Golden Boy as a partner, a fighter, or both (like MAB)?

That would leave only half of the cuatro amigos. Soon it's going to be down to just Oscar. :yep

Mosley is clearly coming to the end of the line for himself. He's not shot but he's far form his peak. I don't mind seeing him fight on I just hope he picks the right fights. I don't want to see him face Pacquaio, Williams, Martinez, or someone like that. I think he would still be a slight favorite over Berto and thats the fight he should probably go for. Maybe a rematch with Cotto or maybe he could convince Oscar to come out of retirement for a third fight.

Mosley has always seemed like the kind of guy that will go on way too long. He has too much pride to think he still can't beat anyone out there. Ideally, he'd pick up a last fight or two for good money and call it a career. But I think we'll see Mosley eventually become a bit of a stepping stone for younger fighters before he does retire for good.
