the thing about it is Shane beating Berto isn't a forgone conclusion in my book. The man is 38 years old right now, age catches up on fighters over night, not only that but who is the last fighter Shane has fought who's faster than him?

well, there arent to many fighters faster than him, at 38 maybe paq and fmj. but how about luois collazo? he seemed just as quick as mosley when they fought.

He waited to long to fight again. He had a lot of momentum and everybody was praising him. But he took his win and did nothing with it. Fighters today are more concerned with one super fight a year than bein buzy. Moseley could have fought a mandatory or a top 5 guy in the WBA ranks while wiating for Floy or Pac to be available or until the berto fight Joe Louis used to fight his bums of the month and get 5 defense in a year. Fighters today dont even know it exists. No shame in fighting a ranked guy. He is 36 he has not need to fight a super fight every fight.

actually the opposite, he is 38 and every fight at this point should have meaning or lead to somethign bigger as his career is nearly over.

I agree with that he needs the big fights while winding down but when he made this fight nobody was available. He at this age should fight tune ups so he keeps his old bones moving. What if after waiting so long to fight he gets in the ring and gets old overnite without realizing it. Tune up fights keep you buzy and let you have a better understanding of where your age condintiong and body have left to offer

dude....mosley lives in the gym, he knows his body better than anyone else. did u see the pics, mosley is already in shape. just bc he doesnt fight doesnt mean he aint training. as long as he is in teh gym staying fits its all good bro. its only when u binge drink like hatton and blow up and then have to loose it all then hurts you. ODLH didnt leave in the gym and his body lost performance. look at how skinny mosley looks compared to berto. he is ok ;-)

No one wanted to fight him. It was not his fault. He wanted to fight both Pacman and Floyd, but he was too strong and too experienced for them to take a chance. He has beaten and fought enough Hall of Fame fighters where he does not need Pac or Floyd, it would have just added to his legacy.
