Mosley Turns Down Floyd TWICE!! And Floyd Is Ducking Shane?

Regardless of what some of you guys would like to think... Let's not ignore history... Shane had the chance to fight Floyd Mayweather TWO times and the ball was in his court and HE had the opprotunity to be the one calling the shots... Now that floyd is the big dog shane is begging floyd for a fight and floyd has other things going on.... Can you reall be mad at floyd? Or even take shane mosley serious when shane claims floyd is "ducking" him?

 

He didn't really turn him down when it comes to the ODLH thing. If your boss wants the big money fight, is a bigger draw than you, ultimately has 75% say in your career choices and decides he wants to fight the guy you're fighting first then sure, You step aside. Otherwise yer fighting the Juan Lazcanos of the world on unknown undercards.

If Floyd fights Pac next (very doubtful) No.
If Floyd can't get a fight with Pac next and he still doesn't face Mosley than yes.

 

I don't recall Shane dodging him, but if u call taking a bigger fight instead of Floyd, then yea he dodged him. Floyd is the big dog now??? Come on Shane is the welterweight champion. Floyd is the welterweight coming out of retirement fighting at a catch weight of 144. But instead he is going to let Cotto, Pac, Williams, Mosely, and even Berto walk around this division. And he thinks he is the best when he fights out of that division. Come on!

 

Probably but it would've just led to bad business. Oscar would probably be miffed, Shane if he lost would've been forced into a bad situation where his boss hates him and his draw value is eradicated and Floyd would likely have lost out on one of his more attractive fights for his comeback but perhaps gained more respect out of it.

Scary to think how history would be altered if Shane would've took on Floyd.

 

Doug Fischer seems on the ring has stated that Shane never dodged Floyd. He said no solid offer was never made and no venue was specified, therefore mere talk of a fight offer does not constitute a real offer therefore shane did not duck floyd. Thoughts?

 

Dont forget Floyd offered him a fight when he was a lightweight and Mosley asked for 10 million.

Floyd asking for 20 mil is just a big **** you too sugar.

Arriba and psychopath: Doug Fischer is ripping into Floyd for making statements that indicate he won't fight pacquiao or mosley. e.x. Floyds problems with arum and Mosleys drawing power. Is it not hypocrisy then to rip floyd and no official offers have been made to floyd. He is ripping Floyd simply because of the statements Floyd has made and has stated that floyd is ducking both of them including statements like... coward...no heart...ect. is this not hypocrisy?

 

I guess that makes every claim of ducking ignorant. The guy has to accept the fight before you can get to anything resembling formal negotiations or documentation.

I however do recall Larry Merchant asking Shane if he would agree to fight Floyd. And Shane said he was going on vactaion and Floyd should go fight Margarito. :huh
