Mosleys team says this fight is confirmed for April.

What are peoples thoughts on this fight? Personally i'm looking forward to it.

Its a 50/50 fight IMO and a chance for Mosley to win a belt.

Its also proof IMO for how saying fighters should retire, is not always cut and dry.
Mosley for instance should stay away from fights with up and comers where he's being used as a stepping stone. But fights against fellow veterans are fun and should be made.

Anyway thought on Mosley coming back, and who you fancy here, and whether your looking forward to this match up please:

Why shouldn't shane comeback out of retirement to fight a no punch fighter? Target practice for Shane.

i think he cold beat paulie, although paulie can take a punch and potentially out box shane.

Good competetive fight. Don't expect a walkover for Shane. Paulie can Box

Did any of you see Mosley - Alvarez ?
He doesnt have it anymore. He can´t pull the trigger.

It's a battle of a shot great fighter against a past his best good fighter. I'd rather Shane retired but if continuing on is what he wants to do then I don't mind this fight.

This is actually an interesting matchup. Shane won't be worrying about anything coming his way, and so he won't be as gun shy.

Shane has to continue fighting so he can pay Jin Mosleys personal trainer.

I heard that Nazim was against this and didnt want to train shane anymore so now he is back with his dad.

I'd be against this fight had the opponent not been Pailie Mallinaggi.
Both fighters are in serious decline mode, Obviously Shane is further down the slide.

That said...PM isn't exactly a type of fighter that Mosley will be gunshy against
    (Even this depleted version)

Mallinaggi looked horrible Vs. Cano and IMO escaped with a win.
I'm glad for both guys getting a payday.

    **** it, Lets go Shane.
    (Alimony is a *****)

Although I see peoples point when they say this because of Malignaggi and the fact he can't punch. Mosley still struggles to pull the trigger due to his advanced age, whether someone can punch against him or not, he's lost that sharpness, that snap, he over thinks, hesitates, and by the time he decides to throw a punch, the opportunity has gone.

Still a somewhat interesting bout that I'll watch.

I'll put it like this, no one is going to make anyone watch it but the people who complain about it will still watch it. Clearly Mosley still has what it takes to beat Paulie and he needs money.

I agree, it is a win-win situation for both guys, also Mosley needs the money, I don't blame him for taking the fight
    I got Mosley by UD

  13. This is a winnable fight for Mosley IMO. If his real retirement should commence after beating Malignaggi, he's done the right thing.

Of course, its a winnable fight for Paulie too, and wouldn't be a bad win at all.

    Sure, make the fight.

I kinda wanted JMM to C.Pick Paulie for that 5th world title.
(Oh well, But Mosley Vs. Marquez sounds wrong right???)
