He could have been a more difficult fight, we don't know since we're comparing both against Mayweather's style and we have only seen Baldomir against Mayweather, we're not comparing both against each other in a fight here. He could be better or not, I would say Margarito would be tougher based on his heigh, reach and size advantage.

Opinion plays a major role of course, that's what this forum is all about, but officially there's an answer too but usually people ignore that to praise or hype a certain fighter they support more. It's like saying Baldomir is the #1 fighter at Welterweight after beating Judah with another group claiming Margarito is #1 because they like him more or think he's better than Judah. Officially who's #1?

is anyone excited about this fight?

why not just make the cotto rematch instead of beating up on poor old sugar :D

so margarito wins, beats cotto again maybe even quicker this time then what? can't see him or rather TR ever trying to avenge the paul williams loss

Not sure if he will consider it, Pacquiao asked him to move up if he wants to fight him. We'll have to wait and see how Pac does in his fight with DLH, he could lose and move back down and JMM will be more than glad to accept a fight, at least I'm sure he is.

Sugar Shane has big brass ones but he's gonna' suffer a gnarly beatdown. And watch; some dumbasses on the boards will add insult when it's over...:-(

I love both these guys, and I wish this fight weren't being made.

Still, I respect Shane. He'll give it everything he has. And he'll make some good coin as well. Both men will. In that respect, it's a good fight.
