How are you going to criticize Margie for fighting Shane?

Which means don't be surprised if Mosley puts up a better showing than any of us anticipate. We're all, effectively, working from a bad/unknown formula. Neither myself, nor you, nor anyone else can say what might happen, ultimately.

Margarito is being a hypercrite and doing what others were doing to him before he became the "man" turning down his biggest payday $4 million to fight the guy who already beat him (paul williams)

Mayorga is a completely different match-up than Margo. This fight is easy as pie to predict: Mosley works the Cotto strategy better than Cotto, is ahead after 6, fades and loses the fight, if there is a stoppage it wont be a clean and clear TKO like vs Cotto, but rather a judgment call by his corner or the ref.

Mosley will look better in this fight than he did vs Mayorga.

People are acting as if Mosley is gonna' get the worse beating of his life.. Just because he beat Cotto up pretty bad towards the end of their fight, doesn't mean that he's gonna' murder Mosley.. Mosley has a good chance at winning this fight, but I would have to say the favorite is Margo.. Though I'll be rooting for Mosley, I'd much rather see a rematch between Cotto/Margo instead of Cotto/Mosley..

    look this is what happens
*collozo is meant to be facing berto for his WBC, but Berto is gonna save his O and move down to light welterweight, so cotto will fight collozo for the vacant wbc title
i am saying cotto wins this one without too much problem

*margo faces shane and if all goes to plan by what his fans are saying he destroys him

*that sets up the rematch very nicely, lets just say for arguments sake the same happens, ehich is the most likely outcome margo wins by TKO
    becomes WBC and WBA champion

*across the scene clottey sets up match with williams, for argumants sake williams wins and becomes WBO and IBF champion

*then the big fight the one that decides who the daddy is at welterweight Margo and Williams rematch, for argumants sake williams wins again (im just saying guys so no trouble) and becomes WBC, WBA, IBF, WBO and RING champion

thats how this stuff's gonna pop off

He's fighting Ring Ranked Top10 Welterweights as a stopover before rematching Cotto. What can you possibly criticise? After Mosley, Margo has basically fought every worthy welterweight except those in the lower half which he would murder.

    1.ANTONIO MARGARITO
    2.PAUL WILLIAMS
    3.MIGUEL COTTO
    4.SHANE MOSLEY
    5.JOSHUA CLOTTEY
    6.CARLOS QUINTANA
    7.ZAB JUDAH
    8.LUIS COLLAZO
    9.ISAAC HLATSWAYO
    10.ANDRE BERTO

Magarito by decision. I dont think Margarito can knock out Shane Mosley and I am not sure anyone in the welterweight division has the ability to do so. Although Shane is hittable, his chin is good enough to withstand most shots of anyone in the division, not to mention his ring experience, heart, and competitiveness in the sport. Mosley won't fold under pressure.

Great analysis san rafael. Mayorga was a bad match-up heading in to those who paid attention: you need a stiff jab to deter Mayorga, which Forrest didnt have in the second bout, and which Mosley doesn't have.

Margo is stronger than Mayo, but he doesn't have Mayo's footspeed. He can't use his muscle and large frame to wear down Mosley like Mayo did (too many M's!), this fight will be at Mosley's distance, it won't be a grueling, clubbing fight like vs Mayorga.

Mosley will lose b/c he's slowed down a tad, and his conditioning will probably fail him. He's a worn 37. Expect Mosley to look fantastic through 5, good through 8, then fade down the stretch.

imo Margarito has a real chance of losing that fight. His fight with Cotto took a lot out of Cotto, but the public seems to be ignoring the amount of punishment Margo took in getting the win. He's had a long pro career and has taken some vicious shots, his chin can't stay iron forever. I'm not saying Mosley can hurt him, but I am saying Margarito is in the last years of his prime, and vulnerable.
