Let's not forget this was the Margarito (Plaster of Paris) who beat down one of the best WW at the time which was Miguel Cotto. Shane was probably was at the peak of his career (considering his age). I think this was Floyd biggest threat at the time since Floyd pretty much got corner to fight Mosley since there was a lot of pressure from the media and fans from him to take the fight and prove his greatness. Shane wasn't completely shot the way many claim. He was a far cry from the talent that had fought DLH 10 years earlier, but Shane was a dangerous opponent, and I personally still believe that stands as one of Floyd's finest performances to date. The way Floyd rebounded from being twice rocked by Shane, only to take over and back Shane up by the end of that very same round is a testament to Floyd's greatness. :smoke
Mosley was not shot when he fought Mayweather. In his previous 6 fights leading up to the Mayweather fight he TKO'd Margo, KO'd Mayorga, Lost a Decision to Cotto, Decisioned Collazo and TKO'd Vargas 2. That Hardly sounds like a shot fighter to me. Besides it well documented that Mayweather wanted Mosley long before they actually fought.

@Babality A KO is a KO. Mayorga was not shot when he fought Mosley, Mayorga's problem was a lack of discipline outside the ring with his drinking, smoking and wild lifestyle. Mayorga is a tough out when comes to fight which he usually did.
