Mora looked like dog **** in his last fight against a guy that would have been holding on for dear life from the second round on against Mosley. Forrest was so shot and stiff legged by the end of his career its amazing he could beat anyone. I'm looking forward to Mora getting tired, throwing out everything he worked on in camp, and standing and trading with Mosley.
It was a very close fight. The commentators were buried so far up Cotto's ass that night it was hard to concentrate on the fight. Turn the sound off and it might go the other way. I gave Mosley the last three rounds. We have learned how well Cotto punches when he is backing up.
Ive been a fan to long to let the announcers dissuade me, thats for newbs. I scored the fight round by round, and was pulling for Shane. I was reaching in my pocket even before the decision was announced. It was close though.
I GUESS they meant the first mexican... Mosley is the real mexicutioner, even he's stated that before. He said he grew up in the sport beating mexicans back in Cali... he said this right before the Margo fight while promoting it.
I don't doubt you. The announcers do sway me from time to time. They definitely let you know what way the network, promoters, etc, expected the wind to blow before the fight. The bad thing for the sport is that expectations often mean more than the fight does. I knew Mosley wouldn't win the fight after the early rounds unless he scored a knock down. I expected the majority of the close rounds to go to the undefeated fighter.
