This would have been interesting, Tzyu had insane power at this weight but so did Shane south of WW(This could have been his best weight IMHO). Shane with the speed advantage while KT is the more technical fighter.

Any thoughts, this would have been some matchup

Shane's chin too much for Kostya to dent. I don't think Kostya could outbox Mosley.

Two of my fave fighters. I reckon a close decision to Shane with an even closer rematch that Shane wins via SD.

I see Shane getting a 7-5 UD if not a SD.

    fantastic fight!!
if they fought a hundred times they win 50 each give or take.. most of those fights would be decided on points too.

I think Shane would have won a close decision.

Speed troubled Kosta. See the Judah fight.

Rough fighters willing to dig deep and go into the trenches did as well. See the Hatton and Phillips fight.

Couple that with Shane's great chin and I'd favor him the majority of the time. Also, Kosta had a massive strength advantage over most of his opponents which helped him in numerous ways. Against Shane? Not going to be the case.

Mosley would have given it to Tszyu. Shane TKO 10.

Bad time to be asking this question to be honest. So many posters will pick Mosley over just about anyone at the moment seeing as though he just beat Margarito.

Also Russell, I'd say normally you are one of the more respected posters on ESB but seriously how exactly does the Judah fight prove that speed troubles Kostya ?

Mitchell and Judah both got KTFO by Tszyu.

Ahh man, that quote makes my brain hurt

I know what the guy is tring to say...Sometime we need to look beyond the results of a fight...True KT knocked Judah out, but up until the point of the knockout Judah really did dominate the fight, albeit just under two rounds..Judah who is a very flawed fighter got caught pull back with his hands down and his chin up and P.O.W lights out...It was a one punch knockout.
