people who are athletically gifted rarely invests heavy in the fundamentals and techniques.... RJJ, Prince Hamed.... Amir Khan is VERY LUCKY to already have a premier and a strict trainer...
Yes, but the difference between him and Morales was that Morales was actually a smart/technical fighter when he chose to be.. Unlike Mosley, he pretty dumb.
Not an intelligent fighter at all.You saw how he began to bounce around like a vibrator on a glass table when he tried to out think Mayweather. He would get creamed in a kindergarten checker match.
No, always relied too much on athleticism. His lack of depth also means he has massive issues with anybody who moves or has a good defence, lacking a good jab or, say, the game-breaking defence of a Duran or the countering ability of a Napoles. His opposition didn't get good quickly enough.

No. I rate Mosley as a fighter on his natural ability and instincts but to say a fighter who lost twice to the same boxers (wright, forrest) and recieved more of a lesson from Mayweather than JMM did has a good ring IQ would be wrong. Shane can't make adjustments and struggles to get past anyone with a good jab. Also against Cotto, I got more of a sense of Miguel controlling the fight and switching up and Mosley being less able to follow the pattern or create his own. All being said I love Sugar and think he's achieved more than enough to go to the HOF, a low ring IQ counteracted by great natural ability is special.
Well he was winning until his mouth started hanging open, wasn't he? I think with Nazim he was turning into a fighter that could follow a gameplan; not necessarily super savvy, but able to follow the logic of setting traps and executing strategies. He didn't jump on the attack because he lost his energy. 2 training camps, over a year layoff, and being 38 does not help your conditioning.
