HAGLER. He was a cute, hard-hitting counter-puncher in '77 and a marauding warrior 10 years past his sharpest when he was robbed against Ray. The skills are clear in the early 80s fights but he also proved his chin and toughness beyond everyone else.
Although I would not consider him as ' ever ' - prime Mike Tyson had defense and offense. His foot and head movement in regards to defense was excellent. His offense, well I dont have to say anything about the speed and power of that.
Wouldnt be a bad choice. We've seen Mayweather dominate a fight with a jab, fight off the back foot, fight in the pocket, and as shown in the Judah, Corley, and Marquez fights, a great pressure fighters aswell. Only thing he really lacks is one punch KO power. James Toney had that better then Floyd. I'd pick Ray Robinson personally. Ray could bully you in one round then become pot shot you the next.
Huh??? Floyd was pressuring Judah and Marquez? How often does he walk anyone around the ring or into the ropes?
Ricardo Lopez was the first name that came to mind! But Robinson will probably dominate this thread and it's hard to disagree with that!
