Watch it again bud, I thought that, however it wasn't as close as I first thought when I watched it back, a clear Toney win in a close fight I thought on second viewing. I had McCallum winning the rematch something like 8-4, he just outworked Toney. My card......... 1 McCallum ( very close) Toney inactive , McCallum dictated the pace and was consistent throughout, this was an extremely close round, punch stats ...........35% of McCallums punches landed compared to 29% for James 2 Toney Good round for Toney, he took it on the more solid punches landed, although mccallum seemed! to be a little more active with the jabs. 3 McCallum He controlled it with the jab, dictate the pace, he landed a sneaky right hand, he also landed a clipping left hook after that. 4 McCallum Toney scored the best punch of the round, however McCallum landed the jab consistently throughout to head and body he also landed a number of right hands, some were countered by toney, some were not, i could not give toney this round on one punch, he was too inactive here, McCallum jabbed the belly and head throughout whilst also landing counter rights 5 McCallum Toney landed the best punch of the round, a cracking right hand but i cant score a round on 1 solid punch, not when McCallum landed his own counter right hands and threw the jab consistently to the body and head, not as effectively as he did in other round, but toney virtually did nothing aside from that right hand, in this round McCallum threw 356, landed 132, 37%, toney threw 320, landed 116, 36% 6 Toney (Jab through 5 rounds..............McCallum landed the jab 93 times to Toney's 63 times) Arguably Toneys best round, he landed quite a few solid shots in this round, it was unlike round 4/5 where he landed one great punch but got outworked, he still didn't do a lot here but he landed a number of those solid shots as appose to one like in the previous two rounds. 7 Toney Toney scored the more effective solid shots but mccallm closed well, still gave it to Toney though. 40% each through 7 rounds 8 Toney More solid punches scored by Toney in this round, although McCallum closed it up towards the end, still a toney round though imo. 9 McCallum "Bill Miller to Toney " were losing this fight" McCallum's best round in terms of solid punches landed on James 10 Toney landed some solid shots here. 11 Toney Landed the cleaner harder shots, McCallum again more active. 12 Toney Clearest round of the fight. I scored the first fight for Toney tonight and i can hold my hands up and say having thought Toney got lucky the first time i saw it having scored it he won a clear competitive fight, but no way did he win this rematch, McCallum clearly won this imo.

Oh give it up man Morales lost a clear decision in the first fight, could be wide or could be close either way anything that favored Morales was a clear cut robbery. Morales won a razor thin decision in the 2nd fight, one could score it for Barrera if they were reaching for him. Morales lost the 3rd fight clearly and was out of distance before the championship rounds.
Try Hatton/Collazo Ive rewatched the fight 4 different times and everytime I change my scorecard for the other fighter.
IMO, Toney won both fights based on the harder punches. In the first fight McCAllum just landed 3 more punches overall. Toney hurt him a few times during this fight and McCallum was out on his feet in the 12th round which could have been scored a 10-8 round.It was competitive but Toney won by anywhere from 2 to 4 points. Second fight. Though he landed many more blows, McCallum only threw arm punches, nothing on them. In the first fight McCAllum threw punches with much more authority. Once again, Toney lands the harder, more telling blows. I scored this one 7-5 for Toney. With the point deduction, that gives a three point margin for Toney.
De La Hoya - Quartey this was a tricky one to score! I had it 113-112 De La Hoya. Last round KD saved him
I rescored Valuev-Haye. I had it 118-110 Valuev but wasn't happy with it. This time I had 114-114. Very difficult fight to score and a torture to watch.
I had it pretty similar, Williams 114-112 Yes, I can admit that I am biased, but trying to watch this fight objectively, this is what I come up with.

you've definitely got a strong british bias though. i remember posting on your "why does hatton not get the respect he deserves?" thread - which i agreed with. shame you're posting like you did above though because you've definitely got some nationalism there somewhere EDIT : which isn't necessarily bad unless it's the basis for your arguments..
I am not a strong Hatton fan , but if a fighter wins the first 6 or 7 rounds , plus a knockdown , then loses the last 5 rounds he doesnt lose the fight. Period. Infact if anything the more contentious bout was Collazo vs Berto .
