    Wow Quarry fought in 1992, thats crazy, I had no idea. Just went and read up on it a bit, sad story.

    It wasn't a tune up, Baldomir was the mandatory challenger.

    I would add Raul Balbi losing a Tune Up in Argentina two months before facing Floyd Mayweather.

    Suprised no one has mentioned Ray Mercer - Jesse Ferguson I. Mercer had a title shot lined up with Riddick Bowe, but lost all 10 rounds to Ferguson. This is also the fight in which Mercer was alleged to have attempted to bribe Jesse to "lay down".

    It could be, but Morrison beat better fighters than Bentt consistently. I think too much partying and not coming in focused (a recurring theme throughout his career) did him in.
