An ever better example was his fight against Pernell Whitaker …even though he lost round after round…he never looked discouraged..it was one of the bravest performances I’ve ever seen

Eder Jofre had great focus inside the ropes and outside the ring which always kept him in great shape and focused on every fight no matter how big or small.

 

A part of me just died. McGirt most definitely had some special talents, he was old school.

I mean though...
Both wasn't really the fastest,nor the strongest at the time they became champ,but I believe Buddy did have those old school skills that aid him good.
And by talents...I mean the natural ones,I didn't see anything that stands out from him.
