Ok, so not Tyson. Toss up between Liston and Foreman.

Both looked sinister and were guys not be messed with inside and outside of the ring.

I went for Big George as he has greater height to Sonny, but both were very close in intimidation.

 

You can put up great arguments for any of them.

In the ring Liston, just.

Outside, Liston, by some distance.

Mind you, in or out of the ring they'd all be intimidating enough.

I like the Louis reference, he would probably be the most intimidating of the lot, cos he is (imo) the best fighter and most clinical puncher/finisher.

 

Tyson - until you hear him talking. So, probably Foreman.

 

I d probably go tyson. Its close to call tho. Always thought liston looked quite sad behind the eyes more than scary. He looked like the type of guy that was more dont mess with me...more than someone that actively tried to intimidate people. Same with foremann. Whereas tyson was a bit more pro active in his intimidation. In that he actively tried to intimidate people. It was more an action with tyson...the other two we,re just intimidating naturally. I think i d probably prefer the ones not trying to intimidate you.

 

Outside the ring Foreman was beating up guys in street fights until he decided to join the Job Corps. Tyson on the other hand was trying to have sex with 11 year old girls when he was 15/16 and mugging elderly females. Also who did Liston scare in the ring? 170 pound Floyd Patterson? Does he deserve a cookie for that? Cleveland Willams stood toe to toe with Liston without fear. No guy who Liston's size was intimidated by him in the ring. Again with exception of Lyle and Frazier pretty much everybody was afraid of Foreman in the ring.
