    It is a tough choice, but I think Tarver is a little more overrated.

    A certain poster on this forum wants him in the HOF and on everybody's ATG lists based on a fluke KO he scored with his eyes closed over a washed-up former great.

    Other than that, what did he achieve? Sure, he came up with a fantastic catch phrase- "DYN-O-MITE!", but that shouldn't get him in the HOF surely...?

    From the view of the fans and media he never has been overrated. But Tarver Overrates himself..In his own world he thinks hes this and that. So in that sense he is overrated but really no one gives a **** about tarver so he isn't overrated.

    To really be overrated you have to be nuthugged by the TV stations...proclaim that they are doing all this **** and they are all so good and at the same time the boxer isn't accomplishing **** to be given such respect or attention. Most fighters in general aren't overrated but just "they are what they are"

    honestly i'd put margarito ahead of tarver. at least tarver became lineal at lhw, beat some accomplished names in griffin, jones, glen johnson.
