I'm indifferent to those people, having an enemy, even disliking someone, takes time and energy. AS minimal as it may be, I have better things to do.
A lot of people say that when they first see a live professional fight, they can't believe how brutal punches look and sound, how fast everything looks, it is actually weird, TV really does sanitise everything, microphones do not seem to get that real sound. I'm absolutely fine with punches, although what did make me really wince the first time I heard it (ringside) was a genuine clash of heads. It still does now, it justs sounds so painful, im always surprised every clash of heads doesn't result in cuts or serious damage. Anyway, best fight I've been to was Benn Vs McClellan, Hmmm, maybe it wasn't the best visual stoppage but it was by far the best atmosphere and the most brutal fight I've ever seen, it was savage.
The one I enjoyed most was back a few years . A so called future champ Justin The Ugandan Warrior Jukko having what was supposed to be a showcase fight for him in Ft Worth Texas against a Mexican club fighter Francisco Hernandez. Jukko beat on him round after round then started the showboating to try to embarrass Hernandez who refused to give up trying. Then the inevitable happened Jukko gassed out. Hernandez started catching him with big shots finally TKO ing him. Hernandez hadn't won a round but won the fight by TKO. His face was beaten & cut but I've never seen a smile so wide when they announced the winner. I love seeing an underdog triumph like that
never seen boxing live but. UFC 115 I saw Chuck Liddell get knocked out and it was pretty sweat, I knew he was out before he hit.
Yes mate, before he made the transition to boxing. Not sure how old he was at the time, youth could have been a factor but it's just surprising to imagine him getting KTFO! i'll see if I can find a video of it (haven't actually seen it myself!)
The Sexton brutal KO1 over 'Uzzy' Ahmed was pretty legendary. Lewis KO4 Rachman in the rematch really did it for me too. Saw both fights live on tv, not in the venue.
JMM over Pac, it finally settled all the scoring controversy. No exaggeration: the way he set up that special shot, it may be the greatest ever knockout considering the historic stage. (edit: live on TV or live at the event?)
Don't make it look like you can't read if thats what you think lol. Seriously though, when you knockout someone you don't like, it's a satisfying experience. You do (well I do) worry though for a second about how bad you hurt them but lucky for me, they've all been fine.
