Im looking for the boxer who all times has the most decision losses in big fights

Norton springs to mind he lost 3 15 round title bouts

2 to Ali 1 to Holmes

Hopkins comes to mind he lost title bouts to Jones Taylor 2X Calzaghe and Drew Pascal all over 12 rounds

so thats 60 rounds in decisions he lost for titles

how bout Oscar he dropped decisions to Tito Mosley 2X Floyd

My point is guys who have lost the most big fights on points

Lots of times we say what a shame where some guys get KO'd a lot

but how bout the disappointment of just coming up short on the cards

so who is the figher who came up short on the cards in the most title fights

Jimmy Young more or less gave fights away like the Ali fight, but what about Emile Griffith?
Monzon LD15, Rodriguez LD15, Benvenuti LD15 twice, Napoles LP15, Dagge LP15 and lots of other fights over 10.

  4. Jimmy Yung,
The man who could not bust 1 egg with his hardest right hand shot.
The Clay And Norton fights were "classic",
examples of a fighter not being able to pull 1 trigger,
He could not stun Clay, or even back him up like Sir Enry' did.
Norton, did not press the fight, and let 1 old "champ" (watever kind of champ Clay was),
grab and clinch him, Norton shud have roughed clay up in the inside,
    like Ol Enry did.
1 Good Left Hook, like enry, wud have won 1 fight 4 Norton.
I guess Norton wasn't capable of 1 left h00k. :verysad

Norton only lost two fifteen rounders, the other Ali loss was 12 rounds.

Fres Oquendo as been on the bad side of many a questionable decision. I feel sorry for him. He often appears to have won, but the judges seem to hate him. I'd love to see him get another big shot sometime.

    And his "draw" with Shavers.

    Emanuel Augustus.

Rocky Juarez is a good choice, he just never had that extra gear that could propel him and take him the extra step.

What !! Only close fight was the first Barrera. And he was lucky to get a draw in the first John fight.

    He was dominated by Marquez.
