    Everyone says Greb was fading and he likely was but he was still thrashing everyone else when Tiger fought him even essentially three times when Tiger was on the downside himself .. my point is to be that competitive with any form of Greb that was still fighting was pretty great ..

    Actually LaMotta made Lloyd Marshal come down for light heavyweight to fight him at 161 and Marshall still diced him silly at middleweight .. one sided beatdown in Jake's prime ... don 't hear about that too much ..

    Anyone remember Ronnie Harris? He was known as Mazel, he won the Gold Medal in the 1968 Olympic Games as a lightweight. He was highly rated after the retirement of World Middleweight Champion Carlos Monzon in August 1977. Harris challenged new middleweight champion Hugo Corro on August 5 1978 in Luna Park, Buenos Aires, Argentina. Harris was undefeated but lost a 15 round decision.

    I just finished reading Murderers Row. Holman Williams was described as Joe Louis's early hero. He sounded like a text book classic boxer and my god what a resume.
