Maybe you don't understand overrated. Overrated fighters don't beat every top 10 opponent put in front of them.

Overrated fighters are handed their titles from bums, like Peter did.

    Overrated:
Bernard Hopkins. Still on people's top 10 P4P? A decade ago, sure. Not now.
    ODLH. Go away.
Samuel Peter. Wayne Rooney's right on the money.
Kelly Pavlik. I love his style and his attitude, but he's not yet the ATG some people like to paint him as.

    Underrated.
JMM. The man is a master technician. Too many Boxrec warriors and Pacfans discount him entirely because of that series of fights. Casamayor sure won't ever make that mistake.
Israel Vazquez. Pure bad-ass. Practically no coverage because he's not lightweight or heavier. Horse****.
Mikkel Kessler. Some people might disagree with me, but the dude hits like a piledriver and has good boxing fundamentals. He lost to Joe C. So what? He's a lot better than people give him credit for. He made Andrade look like a fool, and went to Mundine's back yard to whoop his ass for his very first title defense. Give the "Viking Warrior" his due.

Are you insane? Mintos power is on par with Shavers and has as much ferocity as Duran.

Overrated: Pavlik. I can't wait to see him in with a guy who can box with good footwork and throw from different angles. The guy is very good at what he does but he's way too robotic and predictable to be considered great and I can see him finding Hopkins very tough to beat even with the age difference.

Underrated: Kessler. People were bigging him up on this forum until Joe beat him. Then all of a sudden he's forgotten and being labelled as "unproven". I predit he will unify 168 within 18 months , making Uncle Fester look stupid in the process and then move up to 175.

    Underrated:

Dzinziruk - Or rather he was, he's showing signs of fading. Never fought on the big stage or got the chance to showcase his talent for many reasons

Povetkin - His work-rate and skill impress me. His defence less so, but in this division a guy that throws so many punches and is in shape should be getting a bit more positive press. I fear Klitschko will beat him and people will throw him in the scrap, when in reality nobody else is a clear favourite over him bar Vitali getting back to form

Alexeev - Possibly the best prospect around. In an unfashionable division, and hence gets little attention

Can't be bothered with the overrated, there are way too many.

I like him as a prospect too. I need to see a little more before I'm convinced he's just as big prospect as Alexeev

I'm a big fan of Gamboa as a prospect too. Many seem to think he's a KO waiting to happen, I don't believe he is.

He outboxed Montell Griffin on his 6th fight, that is proof itself, and the journeymen he fougth were good.He is gonna be good,And Gamboa will get KOed later ratherthan sooner,he reminds me of Shane Mosley in a way
