For me the biggest disappointment is Hector Camacho JR, he could've been great if he just takes the sport seriuosly Close 2nd; Calvin Brock
By FAR??? I actually have the likes of Leon spinks above him as most wasted talent.. Olympic Gold then shock victory over Ali to barely able to beat a pub brawler. Thats a waste of talent.. I think too many of us keep assuming Zab is better then his career tells us.
Very talented light middleweight who never reached his full potential because he started too late and had too much inactivity between fights.
Relative to the fighter and what he accomplished compared to what he could have accomplished based on his talent? Bowe Tyson Donald Curry, and my ATF RJJ.
Great choice.. Rushed in the pro ranks and prettymuch put to the slaughter vs Tito. Very dissapointing to see such a good amateur be handled so badly in the pro ranks. Quess thats what money can do.
Yeah, wasnt he a medalist in the 96 olympics. Someone said his eye was all ****ed up or something, and he was forced to retire, made you know more about than I do. I just remember him fighting, and I was very impressed with his overall skill level, and after the Tito loss, he kinda faded away.
yup anyone who you think wasted their talents. For me I would say tyson and zab these 2 guys both had the speed and punching power most fighters would dream of. Too bad their attitude problems brought them down
Curry wasn't a wasted talent. He was undisputed champ and unbeatable for a few years at 147 but just couldn't keep it going when he had to move up to 154. He had a very good career that admittedly promised more but no way was he a wasted talent.
[YT]QTpEvFJUquM[/YT] [YT]SNLyEFr4Ftg[/YT] [YT]Q4f8A8cso9Y[/YT] THAT was Travis Simms. Watch the speed, defense, movement, power, accuracy, everything. That man was the total package...only he was too inactive, then he just didnt show up vs Alcine and the loss dropped him off the map. Hasnt fought since.
