    Good round for the Irishman. Davies was kept out of range for most of the round, and McKenna was able to pick him off. Davies landed a couple nice body shots but was largely ineffective.

    A good round for Davies when the action was just about to slip away from him. Davies was busy this round and landed some solid shots. He needs to keep this work rate to have any chance.

    Showing a little more urgency, Davies really pressed the pace, and started landing some solid hard shots. Even a jab seemed to shake McKenna up.

    Davies landed some hard shots so I’ll give him the 8th but he let is slip in the last minute again.

    Not much of note landed in the round for either man, but in the close tangles McKenna would land a couple of shots. Very very close contest going into the last.

    Davies made too look a fool for another round. Landed **** all clean except in the first two seconds.

    McKenna wins 96-94 on my card.

    A good last round for McKenna who moved a lot and landed the cleaner shots. No danger shots from Davies came in and he was outworked.

    Good, competitive bout. I could maybe see a draw but i don’t think Davies won 6 rounds, and I think Mckennas’s work rate has just carried him over. Either that or Davies’ inactivity, whichever way you see it.
