Remind me never to get The Wanderer angry at me. Kidding aside TW knows his stuff and I agree with him. Ali would've had enough size, strength speed and savvy to deal with the likes of Bowe. Mind you it wouldn't be easy but Ali would find a way. Too much movement and hand speed. Big tall fighters were Ali's meat. It was the smaller fighter that seemed to give him the most trouble (Frazier,Jones) but a stand up stright fighter Ali could deal with (Foreman, Terrell, Bugner, Liston, Lyle) and he would deal with Bowe too. Ali by decision.

a lot of people say easy fight for Ali. I don't think so. I think it would be a grueling fight for Ali, but eventually he takes the decision.

Ali TKO 15. Bowe would have run into the combinations again and again.

    Bowe UD12

It's a complete toss up for me for Ali of 67 and Bowe of 92, Futch seemed to have the Formula for Ali

For the people who say Ali let me explain this to you. Ali struggled with guys like Joe Bugner who was vastly inferior to Bowe. You will say Ali beat Foreman though. Ali beat Foreman because of how stupid Foreman fought. Ali didn't lay against the ropes on purpose for the people who still believe that. Ali himself stated Foreman trapped him against the ropes because of his ability to cut off the ring. Ali has stated various times his only plan once he realize how strong Foreman was and how quick Foreman was at cutting off the ring was to not be knocked out and hope Foreman got tired.

Foreman was just as skilled as Bowe, had a better jab, a better chin, physically stronger. Foreman's ego beat him. He destroyed guys like Ken Norton who Ali stated he knew he could never beat. Foreman destroyed Frazier, Chuvalo and other fighters Ali struggled to beat or lost too. Foreman's ego had him believe he couldn't lose. He didn't take Ali as a threat for stupid and lost. Then Ali refused to give Foreman a rematch. Bowe's ego wasn't as insane as Foreman. Bowe wouldn't load up one punch. I doubt Bowe would of allowed Ali to get into his head. Bowe would of won a easy decision or maybe even stop Ali. If Frazier could hurt Ali then clearly Bowe could too.

Ali by decsion. His foot and hand speed would carry the day

If Ali lies on the ropes trying to rope a dope Bowe he loses, and probably badly. Bowe had pretty decent stamina and wasn't going to blow his gaskets like Foreman. If Ali uses a bit of movement and his jab, he will mess Bowe up and make him look stoopid. Bowe didn't like top flight jabbers at all. It's Ali's fight to lose imho.

I was just about to write this..... I guess G.Foreman was the only fighter in the 70's Ali fought according to Mr.Hands? I'm glad history doesn't share his distortion of the facts.

Ali fought and beat the best slugger and the best Swammer of all time Bowe is a mediocre fusion of the styles whose only real win was Evander who offers no evidence when it comes to how he'd beat Ali and his size? two inches and lard be dammed.

if Ali could outbox you it was almost hopeless he isn't getting stopped or tired before Bowe does either Big Daddy Bowe is an ATG but he isn't beating "The Louisville lip"

Some of guys must be tripping.
Bowe would have won with ease. He was way more skilled, stronger, better inside fighter, had a good jab, reach.
The only department where Ali is better is speed, but the 1974 version of Ali is not that much faster than Bowe.

I know it's not what some wanted to hear, but despite the fact that Ali was a great fighter, he is incredibly overrated in my view.

Ali wins a tough but clear UD. He has the right ingredients to nullify Bowe. I believe Riddick would give him some trouble especially when Ali tries to rest. Big Daddy had some skills.
It may be an exciting fight.
