Sad, Ali would probably be alive today and a good deal longer if not for the Parkinson's.

 

His great grandmother was past her prime

 

And still kickin'. Ali had good genes.

 

"Longevity", Baby, before the term was even invented (it's been an in-word here in Europe for the last ten years or so).

 

Haven’t seen that photo in years. Interesting that Ali and Rahman grew to the size they did given their parents weren’t that big at all. Great Grandma looked tiny also - even allowing for old age shrinkage. I bet she was a P4P terror at any rate. Lol.

 

She was like "my sweet baby beat up that mean ol' Sonny Liston fella"

 

Photos of Jack Johnson with his mother (Nick named “Tiny”) depict a far more stern woman. I believe she described Jack as being a rank coward during his childhood years. Thanks for that warm and fuzzy memory Mum.
