I want your definition of "Western World"

Hitler engaged the northern hemisphere in war from Russia to the US and all of Europe in between which would effectively wrap the globe, Africa was invaded...He signed a treaty with the Empire of Japan bringing the Asian Continent further into war and directly because of his actions there was an exodus of Aryans to south America. That's pretty damn global

Ali became a muslim and fought in Manilla... I guess that makes him much more of a global figure?

In Ali's career he blocked shots on the gloves and on the arms more times than he pushed down on guys necks.

Where was this clinching and fouling against big and dangerous guys like Liston, Williams, Norton, Foreman , Lyle??

He clinched heavily against Frazier second time and got criticized for it so fought him again without clinching.

Wlad didn't have to lose to Povetkin once to know he had to cheat every 5 seconds to avoid a loss and he would never fight Povetkin again in a fair fight to prove he can beat him cleanly.

Don't you ever get tired of sounding like an idiot? Why would Ali Clinch with a bigger fighter he can out box on the outside? he would clinch smaller (shorter) fighters like Frazier. Big and dangerous means that he should run (rope a dope) and box on the outside.... he would have gotten hurt clinching with bigger men.

What are you going to do with your life when Wlad retires? who are you going to troll then?

The words "total knowledge" and "back of a postage stamp' spring to mind.

same reason Wlad didn't hold against Bryd, Mercer, Shufford, Castillo or 20 others.... they didn't try to get inside and he didn't have to

You are mistaken. Byrd got clinched to death in the rematch.

Who cares about those 3 other examples. They were useless.

Come back to me when Wlad fights a bogeyman like prime Foreman with his back to the ropes:patsch

Not sure what the arguement is here. Wlad clinches to stay out of danger and tire out his opponents. It's up to the ref to stop the excessive stuff. This is the main reason why he's been so successful, Steward made him near Invincible with this style. We know what happened to a pre-Steward version, he got KTFO.

The older version was a lot more exciting to watch, but this one is a hell of a lot more successful and safer for Wlad.

Ali actually did excessively clinch and lean on the back of the neck of Foreman whenever he got past his jab. It's one of the reasons why Foreman fatigued so badly later in the fight. Clever guy.

If I had a dollar every time I saw this, I'd buy the domain here and make it so every word got replaced by asterisks.

17 clinches in a single round. One every ten seconds :admin. Truly legendary
