Jordan isn't in Ali's class. Great player, but what'd he ever stand for besides selling shoes and gambling? Ali took risks along with being phenomenal. His persona was his own and he didnt have a league to back him as the face of it. Jordan was the ultimate company man.
Many have yet to comment, many have given their commiserations whilst some have unfortunately decided to bring in their redundant opinions. To them posters yet to comment thankyou for the respect and class to give a moment to withhold in remembrance May the greatest live on in our hearts he shall not be forgotten. Muhammad Ali.
Met him once in 1980...talked about that in another post. Small piece of info....Bruce lee would watch his fights on tape and study them with Joe Lewis...the heavy weight karate champion.. What does that tell you? I am no big fan of Lee's....but still.
R.I.P Champ, there will never be another fighter like you.. May Allah the all mighty place him in paradise , Ameen.
It was Ali's time to go... Very sad. Rip champ, the legend. Heroes get remembered but legends never die.
