Prove me wrong in the last 25 years.. Whos been the dominant force and what did they weigh and their height. No one under 6 5" and 240/50 lb
Dominant champs say at least 5 defences Lewis Klits Wilder Aj Did Holyfield manage it past 95? your argument is fair play
Ali never fought a 6-2, 250-60 pound man like Chisora, so if Usyk loses to Chisora it would prove nothing at all about him fighting Ali. The heaviest man Ali ever faced was a fat, inactive Mathis and Ali couldn't stop him. Chisora is a strong, tough, active fighter, who has proven he can do long fights with other big, strong, world class fighters, he is nothing like the fat, inactive Mathis.
chisora has been proven when it comes to pure boxing skill he’s found wanting however. Fury made a fool of him. Pulev easily outboxed him despite the cards.
You are right because in Ali's era, fighters showed muscle mass and did not let their bodies get out of shape, fans did not like that. they were in my era. When Ali fought Buster Mathis on Nov 17 1971, in Houston ,Texas, Ali was past his prime years, 1964-1967, there was rumor however that if Ali had not been banned in 1967, those two were going to fight later in the year. Anyway Ali beat Mathis by unanimous decision in 1971, even knocking him down during their bout.
Down to Clean fighters with no ped use, even although their diets were not as strict. fighters tend to balloon, juice, cruise, fight, then start it all again. Dillian whyte a good example of when someone doesn’t cycle correctly v wach
Joshua looks like a body builder, Wilders cut to ****, Klits were like Greek fighters from back yonder, chiselled mother****ers...They aint fat, just bigger men naturally
Very true, makes you wonder if the heavyweight today had parents that took steroids, or if the fighters did. It kind of reminds me of the Rocky Movie, where he fights a steroid made man Drago. To be honest that is not a natural gift, size. In my era we liked our heavyweights in shape and as you say, chiseled. No muscle mass means too many hamburgers at Burger King, or too many Snickers like Andy Ruiz.
Any idea how big these SHWs are that Usyk trounced in the WSB? This content is protected Nistor is about 5'11'' and weighs about 243-244 as a pro and probably would've weighed 235-ish if not more against Usyk Joyce is 6'6'' and was 239lbs Majidov is 6'3'' and weighs about 230lbs Fa is 6'5'' and about 268lbs Brechlin must be 6'5'' or close to it and at least 260lbs And Modugno is 6'6½'' and weighs about 260-275lbs
Mark Breland was an excellent Amateur boxer. Dont hear anyone mentioning him with the greats. Hey so was Amir Khan,Bernard Taylor,Tyrell Biggs. Guess what? The pro game is a different game. Buster made the Oylmpic team when it met something. Look that up. Didnt know BELLOW was a legend. Foreman. Liston. Frazier. Norton. Young. What four boxers has your boy beaten that compare to those listed? NAME ThEM.
I guess we'll have to talk about this when Usyk has had more work at Heavyweight Somali. For now there are more questions than answers.
Nice video, fighting huge, well schooled fighters like that is hard on a smaller guy like Usyk. Cruiser weight is probably where he should spend most of his time, giving up height and weight to skilled fighters is hard when you have to do it every fight. If Usyk had fought in the 60s-70s he would have been one of the big heavyweights, today it's going to be tough. I know that was just a "highlight" video, but Usyk looked good, extremely skilled, quick, strong, and agile. Fighting those guys would be a break for a guy like Usyk who has been fighting the best from around the world for years. He'd be as big or bigger than any of them, faster, more skilled. Heavyweight boxing is a world wide sport now, it's not confined to a few places in the U.S., the talent pool is much deeper. The days of a guy with "Big" in front of his name who weighed 217 are gone.
