I think stylewise this is not a good matchup for Vitali. Byrd made Vitali miss a lot, Ali would be worse. I think Holmes and Ali would be difficult for Vitali. He'd be better matched up with guys like Foreman or Bowe.

I especially think Vitali's chin is overrated. The only fighters he fought who you could say were huge punchers were Arreola, Peter, Lewis, and Sanders.

Vitali has a poor resume. His brother's leftovers keep beating his leftovers. Povetkin beat Charr, Haye beat Chisora, and Thompson beat Solis. That PROVES that Wlad fought the better opposition.

fast hands? Ok spin me another one. Must be those rapid fire combinations Vitalis known for?

This is the guy who took 8 rounds to Ko Danny The Bum Williams and 8 for the former LHW Adamek.

Vitali is too slow to even touch Ali. Ali takes him to school like he did to Liston and then just like Liston, Vitali quits, throws a few chairs around. Kicks up a fuss and his fans claim hes a badass, his reputation still intact

Vitalis claim to fame is taking one uppercut from Lewis, that equals a badass.

Sanders had Vitali on his ass in the first round, running backwards like a headless chicken.

Fast hands? Are you sure you're talking about Vitali, and not his brother?

ATG boxing skills? Again, are you sure you're not talking about Wlad? Solis was having success countering him before the stoppage.

Iron chin? I already said that his chin is greatly overrated.

Vitalis whole legacy is one big myth, he is by far one of the most overrated fighters ever.

His fans keep pulling out all these amazing statistics but fail to mention his absolute **** poor opposition

His fans have to say he was ahead on the scorecards before the stoppage against Lewis, when it doesn't matter who was winning, if you get stopped, you lost the fight.

Hearns was well ahead on the scorecards in the first Leonard fight, but he still got stopped. That means he lost.

Cant find one great fighter vitali has a W next to, in fact, if you look through his resume, he doesn't even have a W against any very good fighters either. Just average, decent fighters.

Vitali was winning bla bla bla, he was winning until he lost.

fact is, he lost to a 38 year old who retired

Wlad is the one they should nuthug. He's much, MUCH better than Vitali, and always has been. His resume blows Vitali's out of the water, and his leftovers have beaten Vitali's leftovers.

Vitali struggled against an aging Lewis, he would get KOed by a prime Ali.

Vitali has a hook. Unlike his brother he throws body shots and can uppercut. And he's far more engaging and a sneaky counter puncher

Could be a tough fight to score. Vitali would likely throw more punches and land more. Even the most staunch Ali fans must admit he had trouble with good jabbers at all stages of his career. D jones, Kenny Norton, Ron Lyle, jimmy young and Larry Holmes. Sure Ali was older for Holmes but he wasn't in the other matches and look at the trouble he had. Vital is a good jabber too
