If it was Fergo v QC it would be interesting but it will be Fergo v some poor spastic who had no time to prepare

True he didnt have to take the fight. but can u blame him for it??
probly gonna score himself a few grand for it. as he says in the article Kel linked its a once in a life time opportunity for him. and its not like he has a future ahead in boxing so he needs o build a good resume.

i can understand 100% why he agreed to the fight! and im not against him for taking it.

my problem lies with Blakes team for even considering someone like the bloke they've picked in the first place.

He doesn't want to get hurt. Like anybody he is after an easy earn these fights with Blake Ferguson and Lauren Eagle are just to attract extra PPV buys from people who don't follow boxing seriously. I bet he has more of a go than Allen Green did last night.:dead

Doubtful. Shane, despite being past it physically, is still a big draw and usually requires an advance of the purse and that the money be put in escrow , when the contract is signed. If the fight is cancelled this late in the game, it won't be because of money.

The fight is a flop (at least financially)

only 1600 tickets sold and no where near the PPV expected. :deal

Looks like this could be well last mundine's fight as not many people are interested to see him fight again.

Lets see if Mosley gets paid before the weigh in at the star today.

    It's off.

Mosley was hoping to scare them into paying by moving to a hotel near the airport, but they still didn't pay. He's now gone through the check-in at the airport for the flight out of Australia.

Just heard Jeff Fenech on MMM that Mosley is going or gone and that Fenech has just done close $500000 as an investor to get Mosley out here.

So very disappointing. Whatever anybody wants to say about Geale and Soliman; both of them have been willing to travel and leave their own backyards to be where the big fights actually happen

It makes aus boxing look unproffesional and action needs to be taken as this is a joke.. Hopefully now Mundine retires and pisses off

I was so looking forward to see Blake Ferguson fight. I thought he could have been the second coming of Les Mason.
