I get what your saying. I think relaxation is something that comes with experience when novices start to realise they aren't in as much danger as they initially thought

Any idea what weight lifting techniques I could use to avoid over musclulirization of the arms?

I've heard press ups are good

    Neck - very important
    Shoulders - important
    Forearms - very important
Legs - important ( running and skipping, you want strong aerobic leg not strong squatter legs)

That sounds awesome. How many rocks? Surely not 8-15?

Why are the forearms so important? How did you come up with the classification? I'm thinking of just training neck and forearms based on this informaion.

Can you provide me with any guidance for exercises - sets and reps?

Moore,Foreman,Arcel,Goldmen were all of the philosphy the power is in the forearms..But I assume you know more then them?

    Neck is an obvious..isn't it?

Forearms - Chopping wood or tire hammer are good excerises.
Neck - Neck harness(Start light) and Wrestlers bridge.

Once again, being a great boxer doesn't make you an infallible source of knowledge on everything about boxing.

Greys I'm not sure about your point regarding the relaxed->Tense transition of arguello.

The power is in the forearms? Really? Please explain to me how on earth those small muscles that contract isometrically are generating power in the punch? If you can tell me that then every biomechanist in the world is going to be fired and every human anatomy book will be rewritten. You're gonna be famous son!!
